One of lifes great pleasures is a lazy Sunday morning brunch. This occurs every week at ours, usually between 10 and midday. Usually I make eggs of some sort, sometimes I make other things. To complement the brunch star dish, I add a little something called 'fridge surprise' or 'surprise de frigo' - basically, I take all the open packets and jars from the fridge and bits of leftovers and add them to the table. Brunch becomes a calorie-fest of epic proportions. It is always washed down with juice, coffee and pots of tea. And some cold coca-cola if the night before was quite heavy.
